Tracing Darwish – a journey through (seemingly lost) Palestinian spaces
Experimental poetry film about the search for Al Birwa, the village where Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish was born.
Initially created in 2016-2017 with support from the Lutfia Rabbani Foundation. Completed during the Beo_Project artist residency in Belgrade. Screened in september 2016 at Zavod Gallery, Belgrade.
A newly cut version, featuring an original music score by Guy Wood, was screened at the Palestinian Film Festival Amsterdam in October 2024.
